Tier 1 Jailers, Loot and Notes Empty
PostSubject: Tier 1 Jailers, Loot and Notes   Tier 1 Jailers, Loot and Notes I_icon_minitimeSun May 24, 2009 8:10 pm

Jailer of Fortitude (Garden of Ru'Hmet)
* Spawned by trading 12 Ghrah M Chips to a ??? that appears in the five towers, located in the small room on the outside perimeter of the ground floor map.
* The ??? does not move after it appears, but will respawn in one of the five towers 15 minutes after the Jailer is killed.
* The Jailer of Fortitude spawns in humanoid form and does not change into any other Ghrah form.
* The Jailer can use Invincible several times, and use Vorpal Blade (more than once in quick succession).
* The Jailer is highly resistant to all forms of physical damage except ranged attacks. Magical damage is preferable (see below).
* The Jailer has 2 assistants, Kf'ghrahs.

* When they are alive, the Jailer of Fortitude can instantly mimic any magic spells cast against it back to the person who cast them, similar to Colibri. Mimic is not 100% but it is very close to 100%. Many people mistakenly refer to this as a "Reflect" effect as per traditional FF games; however, unlike "Reflect," spells will still take effect against Fortitude assuming he is not immune to the effect.
* One Kf'ghrah casts only light spells and the other casts only dark spells, but they both have the same appearance.
* The Kf'ghrahs pop in ball form and can change to other normal Ghrah forms, excluding humanoid. They normally change close together, but are not always the same form.
* Immediately after changing form, the Kf'ghrahs will assist the Jailer of Fortitude, but regardless of their form hate can be pulled off of the initial target. They do not seem to follow standard hate rules though, sometimes changing targets when you would not expect them to, or sticking on a target when hate would normally have shifted.
* They take normal damage from physical attacks.
* It is not possible to Call for Help on the two ball helpers.
* Hate is shared with Jailer of Fortitude. However if enough distance is created between Kf'ghrah and Jailer of Fortitude, they will split off and walk back towards their spawn point.

* The Jailer and its assistants can all be affected by Shadowbind. The Jailer's assistants are also affected by Gravity, however the Jailer itself is immune.
* A common strategy is to have tanks kite the Jailer through the whole fight while the rest of the alliance kills the Kf'ghrahs and then use nukes to down the Jailer.

Loot: # Second Virtue, Fortitude Axe, Fortitude Torque

Jailer of Faith (Garden of Ru'Hmet)

* Spawned by trading 1 High-Quality Euvhi Organ to a "???" on the 2nd floor of one of the towers. The "???" appears in the small room with the Aw'euvhi on the side of the tower facing the center of the map. The "???" despawns every 30 minutes, respawning 60 seconds later randomly at one of the five towers (can also repop in the same tower).

* When Jailer of Faith is defeated, the "???" repops after 15 minutes in one of the five towers at random. It can repop in the same tower where the jailer was spawned.

* It casts Slowga, Breakga (15' radius) (does not hit members outside of the Alliance, unless they have some hate) Stonega III, and Stone IV. It also uses Manafont and gains the ability to cast Quake II while manafont is active. It uses normal Euvhi TP attacks. Axial Bloom, Stupor Spores, and Breakga are particularly dangerous when followed by Stonega III.
* Immune to Stun, Bind, Slow, and Elegy; susceptible to Gravity, but builds a resistance.
o Bashes have a chance to stun Jailer of Faith, but the process rate is less than stellar.
* Usually fought by kiting with Gravity.
* Garuda takes very little damage from this NM so may be of use.

Loot: Third Virtue, Faith Baghnakhs, Faith Torque

Jailer of Temperance (Grand Palace of Hu'Xzoi)
* Pops 3-5 seconds after killing the Eo'zdei placeholders that spawn in the small rooms with alcoves in H-4, C-8, L-8, J-13, and F-13 of the ground level of Grand Palace of Hu'Xzoi.
* Immune to direct magic damage (i.e. nukes) and all but one type of physical damage at a time. Because of this, damage dealers with multiple damage types are very useful for this fight.

* With rings out, only vulnerable to Slashing damage.
* With poles out, only vulnerable to Piercing damage.
* With nothing out, only vulnerable to Blunt damage.
* However, DoT is very effective. Keep Bio III, Poison II or Disseverment poison and Shock/Choke/Burn or Rasp/Drown/Frost on at all times.
* Mijin Gakure also damages the Jailer.

* The Corsair ability Quick Draw circumvents these damage mechanics, and will deal normal damage.
* Tomahawk allows all damage types to hurt the Jailer, including magic.
* Uses Meikyo Shisui multiple times.
* Like other Zdei, its TP moves depend on whether it has rings out, poles out, or nothing out.

* Most dangerous in Blunt mode, when it can use Meikyo Shisui + Optic Induration to petrify most of the alliance.
* Optic Induration resets hate.

* Susceptible to Gravity and Flash, immune to Blind, Slow, Paralyze, Elegy, Stun, Bind and Requiem.

* A 75SAM/DNC Was able to Land Desperate Flourish on it reliably (Gravity Flourish)

* Moves very fast. About 1 1/2 times the speed of normal running players

Loot: First Virtue, Temperance Axe, Temperance Torque

Weapons and Virtues are 100% drops, Torques are not.
