Dynamis Rules

Article 1 - Scheduling

1) Dynamis is on Tuesdays and Fridays at 11pm EST. Please start to gather together at 10;00pm EST so that we can enter by 11.

2) Dynamis is a 2-4 hour event. Members coming late, leaving early and afk'ing for a long time will not recieve full points.

3) If you are coming late or leaving early, it is your responsibility to find out who the point taker is for that event, and to let them know to put u on the point list. Furthermore it is your responsibility to make sure the point taker has added u to the point list after the event (dynamis is a busy event and we are doing many things during it, therefore we may be distracted to take your points if yr late or leaving early).

Article 1 - Section 2 (Attendance)

1) Attendance will be taken close to gather together time. We understand that RL > FF, however members found on our dynamis point list, that are found to be online and not present at event when attendance is being taken are liable to be penalized 25 points per ever 25 point event. (obviously whatever they are doing is more important to them, therefore loosing 25 points for not coming should not worry them too much). To avoid losing points for not coming all you have to do is simply tell the point taker ahead of time that u don't plan to be there.

2) Members leaving early must tell the point taker that they are leaving early, preferably when attendance is being taken, however if you have to leave early un-expectingly, you must tell the point taker when you are leaving, failure to do so, could result in you not getting any points that run, and we are sorry.

3) If you come late to dynamis, it is your responsibility to make sure you are on the point list, after the event is over, within 24 hours of end time.

Article 2 - Points and Lotting

1) Members can earn up to 25 points per a dynamis event. If you are leaving or coming late you may be eligible for either 5, 10, or 15 points, depending on the percentage of time spent active in the event (to be determined by point taker).

2) Casting lots - Members are encouraged to set a main lotting job on the point list. Members with a lotting job set will have priority on the items for that job over everyone else lotting on those items without having that job set as their main lotting job.

3) When an item drops: a linkshell leader will ask: "<item's job> anyone?" please answer by saying / and only / in the linkshell. The leader monitoring lots will then go over the point list and determine who that item goes to and announce their name in the linkshell. ONLY AFTER this has been done can that person cast lots on that item they desire. Failure to follow this rule could result in an up to 250,000 - 5,000,000 gil penelty, failure to pay this fee results in a kicking from the linkshell.

4) If there is no response to an equipment item in the treasure pool, there is a chance that that item will go to free lot, if "free lot" is announced members may cast lot on that item. Otherwise the item goes to free drop and we let it randomly choose who it gets dropped to.

5) Keep the linkshell clear during a dynamis events so that we can all see important information that is typed in the linkshell in the event.

Article 2 Section B - Point Penalties
(Point penalties may be applied to members that do the following, causing us to loose time and money in this event
presented here are the maximum point penalty that may be applied due to failure to follow these basic rules

1) Failure to bazaar hourglass at the end of the event after being asked to do so: -10 points

2) Drawing unnecessary hate (enmity) from enemies due to auto-run or not paying attention: -20 points

3) Failure to follow instructions from linkshell leaders running the event: - 15 points

4) Attacking the wrong enemy after being told to use the /Assist macro more than 1 time: -15

5) Causing linkshell to loose time due to you being afk in the wrong spot or afk at the wrong time, or afk'ing without notifying a leader: -15

6) forcing a D2: -15

7) If linkshell leaders notice that you do not learn from your own and other peoples mistakes, we will not allow you to enter events with us.

Article 3 - Item Requirements

1) Everyone must bring a RR item with at least 5 charges to every dynamis event.

2) Mages are required to bring echo drops, and everything else the mages might need.

3) please reference the Matakuko's post on what's expected of you. here is the link: http://illuminati.0forum.biz/dynamis-f6/what-is-expected-of-you-job-wise-t329.htm

Article 4 - Paychecks

1) We pay for dynamis and it's expensive, all currency items are to be collected by linkshell Leaders. If a profit occurs that profit goes into the central linkshell bank and then redistributed to the members through a system called paychecks.

2) how much is my paycheck? --> The calculation of how much each individual member earns in a paycheck is based on their attendance percentage. Therefore everyone's paychecks will be different, unless everyone attends every dynamis event and is there for 100% of the time during a pay-cycle. Your points is a direct reflection of how much you will be getting payed.

3) Due to fluctuations in currency value and the unpredictability of the profit vs loss relationship, we can not guarantee paychecks. However we will do our best to issue everyone as big of a paycheck as we can, as often as we can Smile

Article 5 - Battle strategy

1) /autorun and /autotarget is NOT permitted.

2) /anon must be off

3) MA = main assist, MM = melee marker

4) ONLY attack what the MA (main assist) is attacking, DO NOT target something and attack it, (doing so may kill us all). All melee jobs are to stay behind the MM at all times. (MM is the only one allowed to /anon, this will make their name appear in blue and make them easier to see).

5) Mages are to coordinate with Blm leader on casting.

6) There are numerous additional strategies which you can read on this website, please check the bottom of the dynamis section. There are strategies up on google, and the other four hundred and twenty websites dedicated to ffxi dynamis. Your invited and welcome to learn dynamis and know it.
